NOTICE OF PETITION FOR IN REM FORECLOSURE To Whom It May Concern, and to those Respondents named above: Take notice pursuant to the provisions of O.C.G.A. ยง 48-4-78(f), that Lula Huff, solely in her capacity as the Tax Commissioner for Muscogee County, Georgia filed the above-styled petition on January 7, 2019, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, in Columbus, Georgia, seeking authority to conduct an in rem foreclose for failure of the payment of ad valorem taxes due for the years 2009 through 2018 in the amount of $7,690.54 (amount includes principal amount of taxes owed and any accrued interest and penalties as of October 17, 2018) for real property located at the address identified above. The applicable parcel identification number is 014-017-020. L. Cowan, dated December 10, 1890, and amended in July 1899, said Lot being more particularly described as follows: Beginning on the West side of Fifth Avenue at a point 450 feet North of the Northwest corner of the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 32nd (formerly 30th) Street, which said point is also the Northeast corner of Lot No. 27, in said Block No. 24, and thence running North, along the West side of Fifth Avenue, 50 feet to a point, thence running West 150 feet to a point; thence running South 50 feet to a point; and thence running East 150 feet to the beginning point.
